Thank you for visiting Shoreham & Southwick u3a
If you are retired or no longer in full-time work, u3a gives you the opportunity to join a local group to develop new or existing interests, have fun and make new friends – learn, laugh, live.
There are over 1030 u3as in the UK that offer a wide range of opportunities to develop new or existing interests and to join together to learn for fun, benefiting from the skills, interests and experience of the members.

Social activities , where you have the time and opportunity to socialise with other members:
- Monthly Friday Events, held in The Shoreham Centre with entertainment or talks on a wide range of topics.
- Lunch groups, Warner Hotel Holidays, and sometimes Cruises.
All members can also attend regional and national u3a events, some of which are being run on Zoom. You can sign up for the national and international newsletters as well. As part of your membership you can also receive the national magazine ‘Third Age Matters’.
You will receive a monthly email letting you know about upcoming events, potential new groups etc and a newsletter twice a year.
