Membership

Membership of Shoreham and Southwick u3a gives you:

  • Access to a wide range of interest groups, visits and events, enabling you to try something new or develop your existing interests
  • Attendance at our Monthly Friday Events
  • Our monthly bulletin with news of forthcoming events and activities
  • Our half-yearly newsletter with information from our interest groups
  • The opportunity to get involved in running your u3a, from leading an activity session in your group to being on the committee.
    We are run by the members for the members

We have 2 levels of membership:

  • Full membership – you can attend any group, subject to availability, and the Monthly Friday Event, with no additional room charges. Annual cost £45, reduced to £25 in the second half of the membership year.
  • Limited membership – you can attend a limited range of groups, subject to availability, and attend the Monthly Friday Event with no additional cost. Annual cost £20, reduced to £15 in the second half of the membership year.

Membership runs for 12 months from 1 August to 31 July. For new members who join in June and July, membership lasts until 31 July in the following year.

  • Online by credit or debit card using paypal. You don’t have to have a paypal account and can continue as a guest.
  • At one of our Monthly Friday Events by debit or credit card or cash.
  • By post by completing an application form and paying by bank transfer.
